Obituary of Benson Austin

The family is sad to announce the passing of Benson Austin on June 10, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Benson was the son of Guy Austin (Nancy) and Lori Cudmore and partner to Kimberly Richardson.

In addition to his parents and Kim, Benson will be missed by his daughter, Emma; brothers, Robbie (Pam) and Travis; sister, Sara; granddaughters, Camilla and Elaina; Niece, Abby (the apple of her uncle's eye), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Benson was predeceased by his grandparents, Maggie and Bob Austin, and Albert and Peggy Smith.

Benson was a kind hearted man who would help anyone with anything. He loved giving and making people happy, having good conversations, and his style will be missed. Who wil forget the love he had for his dog, Marshmallow? He loved fishing, hunting, country music, but above all else, he loved his family.

Visitation will be held at 14 Moccasin Lane, Oromcoto, starting at 2:00 pm Friday, June 14, 2024 and running through Saturday, June 15. A graveside funeral serice will take place on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Walbridge Cemetery in Minto.

For those who wish, donations in Benson's name to the Minto Elementary and Middle School Breakfast Program would be appreciated by the family.
