I am so sad to learn of Jake’s passing. He was such an outgoing, hard working, kind man who was always on the go puttering around his yard or out on his bike. I was Jake’s neighbour for many years and came to know him pretty well by seeing each other in our backyards and having the odd beer, glass of wine, and Christmas gatherings. I will miss his smiling face and sense of humour. He often spoke of his family in Holland who were always wanting him to come back home, his son in which he spoke with pride about the beautiful dogs he was rearing, and Debbie with whom Jake could not have gone without. She did so much for Jake and he always looked forward to her coming over. My deepest condolences go out to Jake’s family.
