Obituary of Carol Lindsay

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Lindsay announces her sudden passing on October 18, 2024.  She was the eldest daughter of Everett and Florence Bonnar, born on April 21, 1934.  

Carol leaves behind her children, John (Ruth), Dianna (Roger), and Ted (Eleanor); sister Evelyn Fraser; grandchildren, Shannon, Karen, Scott, Jeff, Curt, Chris, and Andrew, as well as 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Donald, and her youngest sister, Eileen Johnson.

In keeping with Mom’s wishes there will be no funeral or visitation.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home at 20 Bonnar Drive in Burton, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 1:30pm.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
