Obituary of Karen Beth Warren
The family of Karen Beth Warren sadly announces her passing on November 6, 2024, at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on August 4, 1955, to Frederick and Elizabeth (Campbell) Foster in Fredericton, NB.
Karen was a very ambitious, hard working mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. She grew up in Maugerville, NB, and spent most of her married years in Burton, NB, with her husband Keith and two children Rodney and Heather. Karen’s work years were spent cooking in different food industries, from pizza joints to dine in restaurants, and special care homes. Karen loved to play Bingo any chance she got. She spent most of her Sunday nights playing at the Burton Lions Club for years. Her luck seemed to get better as the years went on and Keith would always tell her he wanted half the winnings. She spoiled the people in her life that she loved, and would just be a Karen to the ones that she maybe didn’t like so much, but that’s what made her the best Karen.
Karen will be sadly missed by her son Rodney Warren, daughter Heather Bridges (Duncan), grandchildren Brooklyn Warren, Noah London, Dylan London, Jaelyn London, Kali Bridges, and Hazen Bridges, sisters Crystal Foster and Stacy Foster, brother Fred Foster (Linda), extended family and friends. Karen was predeceased by her husband Keith Warren, mother Elizabeth Foster, father Frederick Foster and sister Linda Spencer.
We would like to thank all the nurses in ICU as well as Dr. Gordon MacDonald for their care.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the near future at the Burton Lions Club. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to NB Lung, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
