Obituary of Josiane Marie Fromont

The family of Josiane Fromont sadly announces she passed away on December 16, 2024, at Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  She was born on March 3, 1949 to Joseph Walsh and Marie Walsh, in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon.

Josiane will be sadly missed by her 2 children; family, friends and anyone who met her for just a brief moment.

Josiane loved travelling, nature, every type of arts and crafts you can imagine, singing, writing, and she was especially kind to animals. A lifelong Catholic, she was always involved with bake sales, the choir and many other church events. While living in Alberta she was well known in her small town as she was always riding her bike from one place to the next. She was very proud of being so fit for her age and loved biking everywhere.

 She always put others first and gave up so much, just to be with her sons who will forever be lost without her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11 am, from St. Vincent de Paul Church, Oromocto, Father Callistus Abazie will officiate. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
