Obituary of John Beverly Slipp

The family of John Beverly Slipp of Queenstown, New Brunswick, sadly announces he passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 17, 2024. Born on June 21, 1945, he was the son of the late J. Wesley Slipp and Grace E. (Appleby) Slipp.

John is survived by two daughters, Anne Charlton of Fredericton, NB, and Cindy Taylor of Hampton, NB; sister, Pamela Godbout (Rino) of Clairmont, AB; brother, Donald Slipp (Joan) of Central Hampstead, NB; sister-in-law, Annie Slipp of Central Hampstead, NB; five grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, George W. Slipp, and his sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Keith Smith.

John loved nature and was a gifted craftsman, making many beautiful baskets, chairs, and paintings which he sold and bestowed on family members, much to their joy.

A graveside service and interment will take place at the Central Hampstead Baptist Cemetery in Central Hampstead, NB, at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Central Hampstead Cemetery Fund or the Oromocto SPCA.
