To Marilyn, Gordon and David,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Being a part of Ron's team at the NB/PEI Cadet Detachment from 2000 to 2006, I knew him as an exceptional commanding officer, a remarkable colleague, and a cherished friend.
Ron had a unique ability to inspire and lead with unwavering dedication, grace, and integrity. His leadership not only shaped our professional lives as officers but also left a profound impact on us personally. I feel incredibly fortunate to have known and worked alongside him.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Ron's legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
With deepest sympathy,
Paul Dowling

My deepest sympathy to Marilyn and family for their loss. Ron was an extremely important part of our QM team at Camp Argonaut. From the day I first met him in 2009, it was very evident how much pride and passion he had for the cadet program. I also recall how competitive he would be when we had our sporting afternoons, whether it was badminton, floor hockey, volleyball, etc. He played like he was 30 years younger, running and diving along the floor to make the play to win and he brought that spirit with him each day at work. He could give you the background and history of Argonaut, it's infrastructure and the summer camps. It was always a pleasure to sit and listen to him or just chat about other things like the time he procured Biathlon Suits for the cadet program and proudly modelled himself in one of the suits. We missed his presence at the camp when he retired and looked forward to each time he stopped by to visit us. Regrettably he has left us all but we do have fond memories he left us with. Rest In Peace Ron.

Sorry to read this. I met Ron and his wife many moons ago as a went to school and graduated with his Gordie! I also had dealings with him at Zellers and met his wife Marilyn on Prospect street. A man with a lot of great knowledge. Being in the Military, of course, he traveled and circled around the moon several times but they settled in little old Oromocto. My thoughts are with the family today as they mourn their loss. Rest in Peace Ron

Sincere condolences to Marilyn and family on your loss. Ron was a wonderful person and a great person to work with. He worked right alongside his staff and was such an inspiration to so many. He showed us how to get the job done. He also was so good natured and had a great sense of humour. I remember Lorraine and I blowing up 50 balloons for his birthday and putting them in his office. He thought that was great and he made us leave them there all day even though one would pop every once in a while and startle him. He will be missed.

I would like to express my sympathy to the Revelle family for the loss of Ron. I had the opportunity to work with Ron during my time as a Cadet Corps CO and as the Commanding Officer of Camp Argonaut where he managed the laundry facility. Ron was a great mentor and true gentleman with a tireless work ethic. He love and enthusiasm for the cadet program was evident every day and hundreds of cadet and CIC officers benefitted from his leadership. Ron was a loving father and so proud when his son enrolled in the CIC. Although death take our loved one physically away from us you will always have great memories of the time you had with Ron. He will be missed.

Condolences to Marilyn, Gord, David and families. We have known Ron for many years both within the Military family, Cadets and personal. Thru his time at Argonaut, his passion was ensuring the Cadets were looked after, whether this was ensuring the canteen was stocked with Stuffed animals to help with the "being away from home", or ensuring Pizza was available to Cadet units on training weekends. His compassion, leadership , and commitment to the program was one of his many attributes; a great leader who changed the lives of so many. Thoughts and prayers to his family during this time, cherish the memories.

Major Revelle was a mentor to hundreds of CIC officers over the years. After his retirement from the CAF, we lovingly poked fun at his passion for laundry, but we always respected that he was so committed to the cadet program that he would fill whatever roll would have a positive impact on the cadets’ experience. The cadet program in NB and PEI, and Argonaut Cadet Training Centre, benefitted immensely from his leadership and support over decades. And I personally benefited from his guidance and mentorship.

I worked for Ron for years. He would never ask us to do something that he wouldn’t do himself. He truly cared for the welfare of his staff and especially the cadets. I remember his van loads of pop, big stuffed animals and many other things to help make the Argo experience great for everyone. Condolences to his family. May he rest in peace knowing he made a big difference for so many.

My deepest condolences to all of Ron’s family. He was a real gentleman and a very hard worker. If not for Major Ron Revell Argonaut would not be such a wonderful memory for thousands of Cadets. He lived and breathed Cadets withe support of his wonderful wife and his boys.
