Obituary of Donna Anne MacDonald

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna (Cook) MacDonald announce her passing on March 31, 2018. Born on June 1st, 1947, she is the daughter of the late Russell and Helen (Henderson) Cook. All will miss Donna. She was a very active person and loved seeing her family and friends. She spent many hours devoting her time to caring for others. She worked many careers during her life. She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and a beautician. She was a very caring and kind person. She also had a feisty side. She enjoyed many things in her life. Her enjoyments were spending time with family, cooking, visiting neighbors, and going to church. She also enjoyed Sunday drives and summer vacations with family. Her most favorite thing to do was a sneak visit. Many stories can be shared and lots of loving memories were created. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Charles MacDonald; children, Brian MacDonald and Krista (MacDonald) Brancel; grandchildren, Brandi Beaver, Samantha Brancel, Jessica Brancel and Alexander Brancel; great-grandchildren, Marshall Holland (3), Michelangelo Hinojosa (5), and Sebastian Hinojosa (soon to be); her baby sister, Mary (McKenzie) Cook; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at 11:00 am with Fr. Maria Chinnappan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Living Memorial Fund to help pay for funeral cost.
