Obituary of Kathe Karla Murphy (Bantin)

Kathe Karla (Bantin) Murphy passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on the 5th of April 2018 at the age of 91. Born in Hamburg, Germany on 2nd September 1926, she was the daughter of the late Karl Fritz Bantin and his wife Emma Caroline Bantin of Hamburg, Germany. She is survived by her two daughters, Ludmilla Mrowka of Hamburg, Germany, Tracey (Murphy) Neves and husband Carlos Neves of Oromocto, NB; four grandchildren, Roland and Kristen Mrowka of Hamburg, Germany and Amanda and Michael Neves; and great granddaughter, Rayah R Bartlett-Gray of Oromocto, NB. Kathe is predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Harold Murphy; brothers, Gunter Bantin of Australia and Luther Bantin; as well as her two sisters, Margot and Ingrid of Hamburg, Germany. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. Rest in peace. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm & 6 – 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Paul Bebodu officiating. Interment will be in Oromocto Pioneer Gardens in the spring.
