Obituary of Marion Nicholson

It is with great sadness that the family announces Joan's passing at Hospice House, Fredericton. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Muriel Hanlon. She is also predeceased by her sisters Diane Hanlon (in infancy) and Ruby Leonard. Joan is now forever reunited with the love of her life, her husband Ed. Leaving to mourn, her sons Kevin (Shannan) of Cow Bay, NS, Randy (Liz) of Bezanson, AB and Rodney (Julie), Timmy (Tracy) and Teddy (Megan) all of Rusagonis, NB; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Mickey (Nancy) of Summerside, PE; sister Sandra (Tom) Pomeroy of Geary, NB; and a large circle of extended family and friends. Joan was a beautiful lady and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and Aunt. She will be forever loved and always missed. Arrangements entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. In keeping with Joan's wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life will be held at the Oromocto Legion on Saturday, May 19th from 2pm - 4pm For those that wish, donations in Joan's memory can be made to Hospice House Fredericton or the Canadian Cancer Society.
