Obituary of Walter McGillicuddy

It is with sadness that the family of Walter McGillicuddy announces his passing in Oromocto NB on April 25, 2018. Walter was born in McAdam NB and was the son of the late John and Helena (Donahue) McGillicuddy. Walter is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Treleaven (John McCarron) of Fredericton, NB, Heather McNulty (James) of Campbell River, BC, Linda McGillicuddy (Dawson Staniforth) of Victoria , BC; Son, Maurice McGillicuddy (William Cooke) Cambridge On; grandchildren, Joseph McGillicuddy, Trevor McNulty, Shawn McNulty, and Rachel Treleaven all from British Columbia; sisters in law, Sylvia Herron of Fredericton, Leona Herron of McAdam , NB. Walter will also be missed by very special friends Valeriana Delfrate and family. In addition to Walters parents, he was predeceased by his devoted wife Marion (Herron); sisters, Mary Brown (Verden), Alice Jones- Connors (Percy, Arthur), Gladys McGillicuddy, Margaret Daneff (Gordon), Helen McGillicuddy, Edna Connors (Lewis); Brothers, Maurice, Raymond (Edna McGee) and Lawrence (Theresa Parker); nephews, Clement McGillicuddy and Darryl McGillicuddy and a great-niece, Lesley McGee. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of the Oromocto Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
