Obituary of Kathleen May Nickerson

It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen May (Brothers) Nickerson announce her passing on May 9, 2018. Born on November 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Baden and Viola (Bezanson) Brothers. Kathleen was the eldest of 11 siblings. She will be greatly missed by her husband Malcolm Nickerson; sons Mark (Carol), Kevin (Deana), Bruce (Darlene) and Blaine Nickerson (Deanna); daughters Karen Graham (Jerry) and Kathy Fredericks (Gordon); 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers Stewart, Raymond, Wayne and Keith Brothers; sisters Betty Dickinson, Shirley De Jonge, Linda Ennis and Marilyn Brothers; beloved dog Rosie; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her brothers Philip and Baden Brothers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Oromocto Funeral Home from 3 pm – 7pm. A memorial service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Brent MacDonald officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Rusagonis Station Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
