With broken hearts, the family of Wanda Smith announce her passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on May 11, 2018, after several years of declining health. Wanda was the daughter of the late George and Annabelle (Johnson) Warren. Wanda is survived by her common law spouse, George Chase; daughters, Kim Smith (Jim Reader), Tanya London (Andy); grandson, Michael London; brothers, Malcolm Warren (Linda), Donald Warren (Jean), Manley Warren (Juanita), Huxley Warren (Phyllis); sisters, Saundra Massoeurs (Frank), Rhoda Harrison and Inez Paul. In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her two brothers, Sterling Warren, Reginald Warren, and sister, Edith Warren. Wanda enjoyed spending quality time with family and had a special place in her heart for her Grandson Michael, whom she loved so much. Before Wanda got sick, she could be found in her two kitchens preparing delicious meals for family and friends who referred to her as the best cook in town. At Wanda’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family would like to say a special thank you to Wanda’s home care worker, Bonnie Caissie, as well as her doctor, Dr. White and her receptionist Deanna, for their loving care over the past few years.
