Obituary of James Dunn

It is with heavy hearts that the family and extended family of Dennis Dunn announce his passing at Oromocto Public Hospital on July 14, 2018. Born in Springhill, NS he was the son of the late Leo and Eleanor Dunn. Dennis is survived by his spouse Eleanor Simpson, his two sons Jamie (Michele) of Waasis, NB, Mark (Tracy) of AB and Eleanor’s children Jason Simpson of Red Deer AB and Sandra (Greg) Stewart of Geary, NB, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and his beloved fur baby Sampson. His first wife Donna predeceased Dennis in 2004. Dennis spent 29 years in the military as an Artilleryman retiring in 1989. Dennis was a big Toronto Blue Jays fan never missing a game if he could help it. His family and all his friends at Tim Horton’s and the Oromocto Lotto Booth, never missing a day to be there with his friends, will sadly miss Dennis. A memorial service will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home on July 23, 2018 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel. The Interment will be at a later date in Springhill, NS. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation or Oromocto SPCA in lieu of flowers.
