Obituary of Lucien Gallant

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family of Lucien Gallant of Waterville NB, Sunbury County, announce his passing on July 19, 2018. Born in Rogersville, NB, on January 7, 1935, he was the son of the late Romuald and Marie (Mazerolle) Gallant. Husband to his beautiful and loving wife Jacqueline (Vienneau); daughter Micheline; two loving grandsons Evan Breau and Daniel Gallant; daughter-in-law Natalie Gallant; sisters and brother Julienne Pelletier (Robert) of Dalhousie, Lillianne Aird of Shediac, Claudia Wiley (Reg) of Burton, Adrienne Comeau of Richibucto and Antoine Gallant (Rose) of Bouctouche as well as several extended family members. In addition to his parents, Lucien is predeceased by his infant daughter Mary; son Raymond; brothers Theodore and Arthur; sister Antoinette, as well as, brother-in-laws Jim Aird and Ovila Comeau. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 8:30 pm. A memorial mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11 am with Fr. Paul Bebodu officiating. A private interment will take place at the Oromocto Pioneer Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
