Obituary of David Leroy Stennick

It is with heavy hearts that the family of David Leroy Stennick announces his passing on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB surrounded by family. David was the youngest child of the late Colby "Buster" and Viva (Phillips) Stennick. David will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 41 years, Sharon (Moore) Stennick. David was a caring father who will be greatly missed by his children Carla (Brian) of French Lake, Corey (Jasmine) of Temperance Vale and Caitlin (Parker) of French Lake; beloved grandsons Dawson, Wyatt and Waylon and his step-granddaughters Ainsley, Rilee and Madi; his sister Janet Greene (Lloyd) of French Lake, NB; brother-in-law Carl Moore of St. Thomas, ON; sisters-in-law Pat Dee of Rusagonis, NB and Eva Warman of Gagetown, NB; nephews Jimmie Malcolm and Stuart Malcolm, as well as several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by brothers-in-law Raymond and Gilbert Moore; a sister-in-law Jackie McLaughlin, and dear aunts Alma and Verna. David’s children have fond memories of Sunday afternoon drives in the old blue suburban where they picnicked at whatever random destination they ended up at and skating with their father down on the meadows. David enjoyed the years he spent driving truck operating heavy equipment. He was a hard worker and was always willing to lend a hand or at least a piece of his mind. David loved his family farm in French Lake which he so proudly called Triple C Farm after his children. He could often be found working outside on the farm mowing the lawn, driving tractor or doing wood. In keeping with David’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
