Obituary of Ruth Alvera Bulpit

With heavy hearts the family of Ruth Alvera Bulpit announces her passing on Friday, September 28, 2018 at her home in the Oromocto Special Care Home in Oromocto, NB. Born in Sterling ON, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alena (Benedict) Dunkley and the wife of the late Jack Arthur Bulpit. Ruth is survived by her daughters Marilyn Piggott (Ken) of Yarmouth, NS, and Kelly Boucher (Rob Arthur) of Oromocto, NB; a sister Carolyn Russel (Ben) of Smith Falls, ON; grandchildren Joe Muise (Crystal McDonald), Christa Porter (Gregory), Christopher Boucher (Katie) and Angelina Boucher (Andrea Deveau); great grandchildren Sarah, Jessica, Amanda, Callien, Connor, Alexander, Abigail, Calum, Kira, and Skye; great great grandchildren Celeste, Athena and Elijah as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was predeceased by brothers Douglas, Raymond, Freeman, George, Clarence, Frank, Donald and Arthur; sisters Mabel, Isabel and Edna; sons-in-law John Muise and Andrew Boucher and great great grandson Malak. There will be a visitation on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Anglican Church with Canon Walter Williams officiating. Interment will take place in the Anglican Christ Church Cemetery in Maugerville, NB, following the service. Donations in Ruth’s memory can be made to the Oromocto Special Care Home or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
