Obituary of Kathleen Marie Bernice Smith

On December 9, 2018 Kathleen Marie Bernice Smith passed away peacefully and is now with her Lord. Born on July 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Thelma (Carr) Smith. Kathleen will be greatly missed by her children Jerry (Marilyn), Norma, Elwood (Brenda), Anthony (Lisa) and Absalom Smith; son-in-law David McLaughlin; daughter-in-law Debbie Smith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a large extended family. In addition to her parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Everett Smith as well as children Douglas Smith, Anna McLaughlin and Edgar Smith. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Geary Baptist Church from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Geary Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. A private family interment will take place at Waterville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery Committee or a charity of the donor’s choice.
