Obituary of Jonas Ford Heath

With heavy hearts, the family of Jonas Ford Heath announces his passing on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Triton, NL, he was the son of the late Alexander and Selina (Winsor) Heath. Ford is survived by his loving wife Bernice of Oromocto, NB; sons Shane Heath of Ottawa, ON and Bliss Jeffries of NL; daughters Tracy Price of Ottawa, ON and Joy Moss of NL; sisters Joyce Vincent, Madge Chaulk (Gord), Josephine MacDonald (Malcolm), Phyllis Vincent (Sterling), Ruth Lush (Wilfred) and Leona Heath, all of NL; grandchildren Jordon Moss, Jasmine Burton, Joshua Price and Chloe Price; great grandchildren Dillon Lambert and Laurel Burton,as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ford was predeceased by his brothers William, Robert and Byron. There will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of Ford’s life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 93 in Oromocto on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Donations in Ford’s memory can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion.
