Obituary of Donna Evelyn Bridges

It is with sadness that the family of Donna Evelyn (McMonagle) Bridges announce her passing on March 16, 2019 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on July 12, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris (Coy) McMonagle. Donna will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Stuart Bridges; sons Billy (Shelley) and Jimmy Bridges (Tanya); grandchildren Brittney, Duncan, Travis and Oliver as well as great grandchildren Natalie, Kali and Allison. The family would like to thank all the nursing staff at the Orchard View Nursing Home which was her home for almost 8 years. Also, they would like to thank the amazing staff at OPH Med 1 for helping make Donna’s final days comfortable and peaceful. By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Mary Tingley officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Sheffield United Cemetery Donations in Donna’s memory would be greatly appreciated to the MS Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
