Shirley was Joan Travis' dear, dear partner in crime. I heard many, many lovely stories of their exploits. Shirley brought joy to everyone who knew her and memories to last a lifetime. Cherish every one of them. She is where she needs to be now.

So sorry to hear of your Moms passing. Every time I think of Shirley I can%uFFFDt help but smile and think of all the fun times had out at Gillis Lake. We would all gather in that small bungalow like sardines but there was ALWAYS room for one more. Shirley kept everyone entertained with her jokes and her many, many stories. She was always the life of the party. Hopefully she will carry that with her on her journey to eternal life. She will certainly be missed, however just look at the legacy she left behind. Rest In Peace Aunt Shirley until we all meet again.

I met Shirley in 2011 and my first impression; humorous, kind and gracious. Our visit to Oromocto were always fun, lively and colourful! She showed great admiration for her children and grandchildren. Everybody she came in contact with; the nursing home staff, the waitress, Sears staff selling her not needed tops and anyone we met up with, she always had a smile for them. Everybody knew her name! She will be dearly missed by many!! RIP Shirley
