Obituary of Shelda O'Regan

It is with sadness that the family of Shelda (Williamson) O’Regan announce her passing on May 26, 2019 at Thomas Hall, Shannex. Born on January 22, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Butland) Wiliamson. Shelda will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Chesley O’Regan; daughter, Tanya Yuskiw (Richard); son, Jeffrey O’Regan; a special grandson, who was her pride and joy, Michael Yuskiw; sister, Sheila Williamson; sisters-in-law, Ramona Williamson, Mary Douthwright, Joan O’Regan and Linda O’Regan; brother-in-law, John O’Regan (Elsie); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Shelda is predeceased by a brother, Reginald Williamson and a brother-in-law, Lewis Douthwright. We would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Thomas Hall for their compassionate care during Mom’s stay. By request of the family, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
