We were sorry to hear of Scott's passing. As a small girl I have memories of Scott's visits to Greenspond. He was always popular with the children because of his endless supply of chocolate bars and candies. I was privileged as an adult to visit Scott and Margaret's home on a number of occasions. Whenever Baxter's military duties brought him to Gagetown, l would accompany him and stay in Burton. Scott and Margaret were wonderful hosts, always welcoming. I still have a key to their door. I will treasure those times forever. We were especially privileged to be there for their 50th wedding anniversary. Scott was a kind and generous man. He even allowed me to hang out with him in his room downstairs. He could be quite funny and he always wanted to be bad but in truth, he was wonderful and kind, proud of his family and true to his Greenspond roots. That is how I will remember him.
