Obituary of Roland Junior Sacobie

It is with great sadness that the family of Roland Junior Sacobie announces his passing on Monday, July 1, 2019. Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Beverly Sacobie (Tim Grant) and Maurice Ouellette. In addition to his parents, Roland is survived by his wife Mary Paul; his sons Roland Sacobie Jr., Daniel Sacobie, Leon Francis, Sammy Sacobie and Gage Sacobie; his brother Shawn Sacobie (Ashlea); nephews Shawn Jr Sacobie, Ryder Sacobie; niece to be Onyda Sacobie; godchildren Addison Sabattis and Nations Atwin; good friend Phillip and the rest of the boys; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Roland was predeceased by brothers Maurice and Daniel Sacobie; sister Lisa Marie Sacobie and godmother Rosalie (Sacobie) Milley. Visitation will be held at 12 Wel a Mook Took Street, Oromocto, NB, on Friday, July 5, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Udeh as officiant. Interment will take place in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Donations in Roland’s memory can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
