Obituary of Samuel Best

It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel Best announces his passing on August 12, 2019 at Mill Cove Nursing Home. Samuel was born in Sydney, NS on December 25, 1929. He will be greatly missed by his children Stanley Best, Volker Best (Leah) and their son Michael. Samuel served in the Royal Canadian Armed Forces with the Artillery for 27 years. He retired as a Sgt for 1 RCHA division. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Oromocto Funeral Home from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will be held in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
