Obituary of Dora Armstrong

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Dora Armstrong on October 25, 2019 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on July 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Etta (Mills) Murray; and the wife of the late Kenneth William. A loving mom and grandma, she was known for her delicious holiday meals. The kids and grandkids have special memories of corn boils at the lake, haying in the field and Christmases at the old homestead. She was a loving and supportive military wife, living in Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Ontario until finally settling in New Brunswick. Dora will be missed by her sons Bill (Rose) and Doug; her brother George Murray (Stella Wheadon), Jerry Stafford (Phyllis); her sister-in-law Kay Stephen; her grandchildren Christopher and Jasmine Armstrong; many friends and her loyal four-legged canine companion Athena. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of over 55 years, Kenneth; her sisters May, Mildred and Mae; brothers Miles, Gerald and Russell and her nephew Michael.
