Obituary of Beverly Faye McArthur

It is with great sadness that we announce that Beverly Faye McArthur has fought, with grace, her last battle on October 26, 2019 at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Born in Woodstock, NB, on March 12, 1967, she was the daughter of Juanita Grace (Jinson) and the late Malcolm Alexander McArthur. Bev has always had a zest for life and the best sense of humor. Her laugh was infectious and contagious. She worked many years, through various employments, at Base Gagetown. She was always a hard worker and took pride in herself and her accomplishments. She was beautiful inside and out and was never afraid to speak her truth. Bev had fought many battles in her life, making her one of the bravest and strongest women ever known. She loved her family and friends passionately and unconditionally. To know her, was to love her. She will be missed by her daughters, Jarika, Danielle and Alyssa McArthur; her sisters, Wanda McArthur-Sembalerus (Larry) and Valerie LePage; her best friends and sisters by choice; her beloved cat, Lily; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to all the staff of Oromocto Extra Mural, as well as Dr. Sainz and all the staff at Hospice House Fredericton for providing such wonderful and loving care of Beverly and her family. Also, thank you to all of Beverly’s friends and family for their support and kindness. By request, there will be no visitation. A gathering to share stories and to celebrate Beverly’s life will be held from St. Luke’s Chapel, Base Gagetown, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Hospice House, Oromocto Extra Mural or to the family’s Go Fund Me page, https://ca.gofundme.com/f/in-support-of-beverly-mcarthur-and-family , to assist with expenses.
