Obituary of Jared Kenneth John Young

It is with great sadness that the family of Jared Kenneth John Young announces his sudden passing on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the age of 21. Born in Fredericton, NB, on January 4, 1998, he was the beloved son of Carol Bartlett and Sean Young of Oromocto, NB. In addition to his parents, Carol and Sean, Jared leaves behind his loving sisters, Kira (Abrielle Lebeouf) and Aria Young; grandparents, Sally and Kenneth Bartlett and Donna Young; aunts, Carrie Bartlett, Lee-Ann Bartlett, Josephine Cloud, and Jaime Patles; uncles, Kenny Joe Cloud and Oliver Cloud; first cousins, Ethan, Gregory, Bailey, Jonathon (Amanda), Caitlin (Brian), Phillip, and Sheridan; godparents, Terry Sacobie and Jonathon Bartlett-Gray; godmother, Doreen Green; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, many other relatives, and his closest friends. Jared was predeceased by his cousin, Tanner; aunt, Rose; uncle, Richard Young; godson, Jacob; and several extended family members. Jared enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing video games and guitar and was an avid sports fan. He also really enjoyed his job at Welamukotuk Wellness and working with the staff there. He loved to ride his bike and will be missed by his cat "Ging". Visitation will be held at his home, 12 Sacobie Blvd, Oromocto, on Friday, November 1. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Jared’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
