Obituary of Alice Jacqueline Randall

Alice Jacqueline "Jackie" Randall passed away peacefully at The Perley and Rideau Veterans Health Centre in Ottawa on Sunday, December 8, 2019. The eldest of 10 children she was born April 30, 1937, daughter of the late Jake and Joanna MacDonald of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. A devoted wife and mother she is survived by sons John (Darla) of Lakeville Corner and Jim (Meg) of Ottawa; sisters Betty (Fred), Kathy (Pius) of Halifax; brothers Allister, John Samuel (Julie) of Louisbourg, and Michael (Marilyn) of Halifax; grandchildren, Scott (Alieda), Paul, Marie, Krissy, Kathy (Terry), Michael, Rob and Jenny; and a great granddaughter Sage. She was predeceased by Chet, her husband of 54 years; infant son Joseph; sisters Mora and Isabel; as well as a brother Jimmie Norman. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 11 am with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. Interment will be held in the Byno Cemetery.
