Obituary of Irene Elizabeth Fraser

It is with sad hearts that the family announce the passing of Irene Elizabeth Fraser on January 30, 2020 at Hospice House, Fredericton. Born on October 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Alice (Carr) Boone. Irene will be missed by her niece and chosen daughter Jessica Hafford (JJ); brother David Boone (Marianne); grandchildren Madison and Naomi Hafford; nieces and nephews Keith Meade (Donna), Tammy Dobson, Monica Holt, Carl Boone (Murray), Derrick Boone, Anita Paget and Elizabeth Kerton; special friend John Newsome as well as many loving great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of over 35 years, Kenneth Fraser; her sister Helen Meade-Newsome and brothers Wallace and George Boone. There will be a visitation at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House Fredericton would be appreciated.
