Obituary of Kathryn Mary Palmer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathryn Mary Palmer on March 1st, 2020. Born on August 21st 1946, Kathryn was predeceased by both her parents, and leaves behind her husband, Roger. In addition to her husband, Kathryn is survived by her son, Bradley (Deborah); brother, Jim; a very special best friend, Ruth; cousins, Patsy, Bob and Donnie; a very good family friend, Glen Brown; sister-in-law Lillian; brother-in-law Ivan (Janet); and many extended family members and friends. Those who knew Kathy would undoubtably describe her as a cat lover. It goes without saying that she will be greatly missed by her fur baby Gumby. Gumby was a special cat and was just like a child to Kathryn. By request of the family, there will be no visitation. In celebration of Kathryn’s life, a memorial service will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church, Oromocto, 60 Broad Rd., on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 at 2:00 pm with The Ven. John Sharpe officiating. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oromocto SPCA or the Fredericton SPCA.
