To all of John's family, we extend sincere condolences. We met John through my father, Byron, who both served in the military many years ago in Egypt. John lived not far from us and occasionally we got together for a meal or conversation, and he always had a story, or two, to tell! He spoke often of each of his children describing their careers and place of residence. He spent many hours traveling and visiting his wife at her nursing home, showing his true love and dedication. John devoted many hours volunteering at most all legion events and he was always present at Remembrance Day events. We always looked forward to seeing John and we will miss him.
