Obituary of Jean-Louis Langlais

It is with sadness that the family of the late Jean-Louis Langlais announces his passing on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the Orchard View Long Term Care home in Gagetown, NB. Born in 1944 in Sorel, QC, he was the son of the late Gérard and Cecile (Levesque) Langlais. Jean-Louis loved life. He served 26 years in the Canadian Forces and was proud of his service. During his career he served in Germany, the Golan Heights, and Norway, finally retiring in Burton. He enjoyed helping others, family reunions, his dogs, and most of all, his daughter Nadine and his wife of 46 years, Francine. Jean-Louis also loved to laugh, stack wood, visiting with neighbours, and he enjoyed living in Burton. Jean-Louis is survived by his loving wife, Francine, and their daughter, Nadine; his brother, Denis; and sister, Lise. His family wish to thank the Orchard View Long Term Care staff for the compassionate care given to Jean-Louis. A celebration of his will be held at a later date.
