It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Constance Edris "Connie" Carr on August 12, 2020 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on May 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. And Laura E. Carr. In her early years, Connie lived in Geary, Hampstead, Tracadie, New Brunswick , and Danville and Mont Joli, Quebec. She later moved to St. John’s Newfoundland but ultimately returned and remained in Geary, New Brunswick for her remaining years. A devoted Christian, Connie was a long standing member of the Geary Baptist Church. She sang in the choir, participated in bible studies, and taught Sunday school. She was an avid quilter and loved animals. Connie is survived by her sister Elsie Evans (Lynwood), sister-in-law Betty Carr as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Connie was predeceased by her brother Vincent Carr and sister Marilyn Carr. A visitation will be held at the Geary Baptist Church on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm by invitation only. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations to the Asa Carr Cemetery Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of their choosing would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Frederick Hall (Shannex) for all their care, kindness and compassion.
