Obituary of Winnifred Johnson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Winnifred Johnson on December 25th, 2020 at York Care Centre. Born on September 5th, 1929, she was the daughter of Moes and Sadie Stevenson, and the loving wife of Reuben Johnson. Winnifred will be fondly remembered by her son Bruce Johnson (Jennie Weaver); daughter Misty Johnson (Carl Parker); her three grandchildren; sisters Myrtle Criss and Hilda Smith; her two nieces Gail Smith and Beth Sheppard. In addition to her parents and husband, Winnifred is predeceased by her brothers Archibald Stevenson and Robert Stevenson, and by her two sisters Nora and Olive Ruck. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at York Care Centre for the care and respect that was extended to Winnifred during her stay. A service will take place in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at 11:00am.
