I was so saddened to see your mother's beautiful photo in the newspaper. I have so many fond memories of her working with me at Gesner Street School. Dawna became a good friend and was loved by the students she worked with forming lasting bonds with some. I'd like to express my heartfelt sympathy to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dawna spoke often about her family and was devoted to them. She certainly will be missed.
