Obituary of Roberta Vanstone

Roberta passed peacefully while surrounded by her husband and both daughters on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at White Rapids Manor. Roberta was born on April 26th, 1937 in Saint John, NB, and will be greatly missed by her husband of 64 years, Gerald Vanstone. In addition to her husband, Roberta will be dearly missed by her children Cindy Vanstone and Tammie Graham (Michael Graham); grandchildren Rachael MacKillop (Alex Rabaa), Ian MacKillop (Roselyn Batolina), Sheena MacMillan (Scott MacMillan) and Adam Graham; great grandchildren Rian MacKillop, Gabriel MacKillop and Hartley MacMillan. Roberta has many nieces and nephews who love and will miss her with all their hearts. Roberta grew up in Saint John, NB in a large loving family with many brothers and sisters. After she met Gerald, who was introduced to her by her brother, she became his wife 3 weeks later. He proposed to her on Lilly Lake in Saint John and the rest is history. She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved with all her heart. The family would like to extend a special thank you the nurses and support staff at White Rapids Manor for the love, care and respect they extended to Roberta during her stay. A visitation will take place at Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 at 2:00pm with a burial to take place at a later date.
