Obituary of Frank John Gerald Massoeurs

The family of Frank John Gerald (Dutchie) Massoeurs is saddened to announce his passing at Orchard View Long Term Care Home on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Gagetown, New Brunswick. Born December 26, 1941 in Holland, Frank was the son of the late Frits and Katrina Massoeurs. A member of the Canadian Military, Frank served for 34 years, before retiring and becoming a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Not too eager to remain idle, he was a member of the Gagetown Counsel and served as a counsellor for 21 years. Frank will be greatly missed by the village he loved so dearly. Frank leaves behind his wife, Saundra (nee Warren); sons Steven (Kelly) and Brian (Nancy); grandchildren Steven, Kai, and Lia; Great grandchild Mardy; brothers John (Ellen) and Gerard (Willemien) as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his sister Lia and brother Frits. A special thank you to the amazing staff at the Orchard View Long Term Care Home for their exceptional care. A public visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held at the St. John’s Anglican Church. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Orchard View Long Term Care Facility Inc.
