Along with his wife of nearly 58 years, Ralph is also survived by his children: Rick (Kim), Krista Hall and Susan (Barrie) Hall, all of Jemseg, NB; his siblings: Bill (Mary Jean) of Saint John, NB., Marion Jackson of Cambridge, ON, Helen (Bob Charles) Norwood of Listowel, ON., Donna (Leif) Nielsen of Baden, ON., and Bob (Betty) of Gagetown; sister-in-law Valerie Hughes of Fredericton and brother-in-law Neil Thorne of Jemseg; grandchildren: Jeremy (Brittany), Devon, Jordan, Kristen (Morgan), Matthew, Lydia (Kyle) and great grandchildren Benjamin and Ethan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members on both his and Brenda's side of the family. In addition to his parents, Ralph was also predeceased by his brothers: Arnold (Barb) and John (Marie) and by his brother-in-law Charlie Jackson. Ralph spent most of his career as a welder working for York Steel and with the Plumber & Pipefitter Union, Local 325. He was active in sports, especially hockey and was a true Toronto Maple Leaf fan and Blue Jay fan. He enjoyed his family gatherings at the Norwood farm house, when family was home on vacation. Ralph loved the outdoors. In his retirement years he spent time in his vegetable garden, working on projects in his shed whether it be a welding project or tinkering on the old elan(snowmobile), snowshoeing, skiing and very seldom missed his daily walk. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, skating, building rinks, and throwing the ball around.
