Tom Tomaso posted a condolence
To the family of Ross Francis my sincere condolences. I first met Ross in 1973 while attending a course at the Arty School in CFB Gagetown. We became friends although we never served in the same unit. Stayed in touch over the years regardless. He will be missed by all that knew and served with him. Rest in peace, my friend, Ubique, Tom Tomaso

RANDALL STOWELL. LCol [RET],RCA posted a condolence
Ross Francis was a soldier who made me a far better officer by his work ethic and soliering talents. He deployed Blowpipe Air Defence detachments in Germany with energy and great skill and he always had a smile and positive attitude. I recall a cold, rainy night on exercise in Bavaria and we ran into one another ...Sir! we are living the dream.

We just heard of Uncle Ross's passing and would like to express our deepest sympathies. While we never had the pleasure of meeting him my mother, Ross's sister Irene, spoke very highly of him for her entire life. She always had his picture on display in her home. We are moving to NS this fall and had hoped after we moved we could finally get in contact and meet him. Dean & Cathie Simms
