Obituary of James Gorley Sark

The family is saddened to announce the passing of James Gorley Sark on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on June 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Charles and Annabelle Sark. Jim will be missed by his daughter Sarah (Josh); grandchildren J. Alex (Trisha), Owen, Sasha, and Keishon; great grandchildren Joseph, Bentley, Claire, Brooklyn, and Haley; siblings Cindy, Diane, and Gerald; best friend Brian Keenan as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his son James; grandson Joseph; and siblings Frank, Charles, Joyce and Evelina. Visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Thursday, January 6 and Friday January 7, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm each day. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for entry to the visitations or service and a reservation is required to attend the funeral.
