Obituary of Marilyn Rogers

It is with sadness that the family of Marilyn Rogers announces her passing at Orchard View Long Term Care in Gagetown, NB, on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the age of 79. Born in Chipman, NB, on February 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rita (Cassidy) Kilfillen. Marilyn leaves behind her children, Laurie Rogers, Michele Stephenson (Darren Fry), and Kyle Rogers (Carolyn); sisters, Anna Mae Bostick, Joan Pyne (Darrel), and Lorna Kilfillen; grandchildren, Brian, Greg, Emily, Tanner, Mitchell, and Alana; great granddaughter, Luna; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her son, David Rogers; brothers, Harold and William "Bill" Kilfillen; brother-in-law, Johnny Bostick and sister-in-law, Mary Kilfillen. Marilyn enjoyed baking, cooking, bingo and going to the movies but her favorite pastime was shopping and doting on her beloved grandchildren. She will be dearly missed A celebration of Marilyn’s life for friends and family will be held at a later time. For those who wish, donations in Marilyn’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
