The Family of Daphne Murphy.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Daphne's passing. We grew up together in Pacquet and went to school together, I also taught her daughter in Curling. I have not had the opportunity to see her in a number of years but will never forget her. Arriving in Curling as a new teacher to my first teaching assignment, knowing no one, Daphne reached out to me to visit her home. It was so nice to see a familiar face. She was a pleasant person who loved her family dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you walk this difficult journey. Hold those beautiful memories close to you during your sadness and I am sure they will bring a smile to your face.
My husband, Claude joins me in sending sincere condolences to her family.
Blessings,
Yordest(Norman) Andrews

To the Park Family and Uncle Frank.
I am saddened to hear of Aunt Daphne's passing. My late wife, Deanne, Robyn, and I were always welcomed to their home when we were travelling to Newfoundland. We looked forward to stopping there and enjoying their wonderful hospitality. Aunt Daphne was always looking out for you as you travelled. Her & Uncle Frank made sure that you stopped there and got rested and well fed before you continued on. LOL
Robyn & I will certainly miss her, but she will always be in our thoughts and hearts.
I want to wish my deepest condolences to you all. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

I’m saddened to hear of Aunt Daphne’s passing. Your obituary describes her beautifully. If you knew Daphne, you just couldn’t like her, you Loved her. She surely will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. She was my late husband’s aunt but she was my aunt as well. Murray respected and loved her dearly. My husband George felt accepted immediately as I introduced him to her and Frank and some of the family on our drive from the States to NL one year. George was impressed with the constant bantering and laughter. Also, he didn’t understand why there was so much food at Lunch hour. I tried to explain that you never know when somebody else will show up. Initially, I don’t think he understood but after being in NL a couple of times, I think he’s getting it. Well, May your millions of memories comfort as the Holy Spirit sustains you at this time. Be assured of our prayers and Love. Sincerely, George and Connie Collar
