I remember Irvine helping me up into his truck when I was a kid -- it was just a quick little local run, but I still remember that drive along the river, and him driving along, smiling, and talking with me.. was I 9 or 10? Anyway, it is one of many a good and fond memories I have of going down home with Mom & Dad to visit with the N.B. family of which so many involve Irvine and the Bridges/London family.
