Sincere condolences to the family of Wendell. My first meeting ot Wendell was at Loch Alva Dam. I would spend the remainder of my career working working with Wendell at both York Street and at the Ancillary building. It was certainly a pleasure working with Wendell . I will always remember that smile.

Roger and I send our most sincere condolences to Wendell's family. Working with Wendell was always such a joy! He was funny, quiet, kind, caring and ALWAYS there to get us out of a jam!! (only shook his head sometimes! Ha!). He was a friend to many and a huge asset to the Department.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Banks family.
I worked with Wendell for many years.
The Department benefited from his knowledge, not only as a Mechanic but also as a dedicated employee.
Over the years, what we learned from Wendell helped us be a bit more skilled with our vehicles and small equipment.
His humour with that big smile was enjoyed in the Shop and the Lunchroom.
Rest in Peace Wendell.

The Banks family has been in my life for as long as i can remember. Two doors down from our house , there wearnt very many days that i wasnt at the house playing with Lisa. In the next room would be Clem and Elsie and any one of their kids playing cards. Wendall was always popping in to the homestead to check on his mom and dad and Gail not to far behind and of course in the later years Barb moved into the subdivision and of course Marie was keeping everyone entertained with cribbage. As your family gets smaller the memories get larger. Even though there is no service, you should know that your neighbors and friends are sharing in your grief. Rest in Peace Wendall.

We want to give Wendell's family our condolences. We lived next door to his Mom and Dad for years. Wendell always gave a wave or would stop and say hello. May it give you some comfort that his suffering is over.

Wendell had been an integral part of our family since my Dad passed away. He had a passion for basketball that he shared with my Mom. Always a man of integrity and logic. He has been in our prayers throughout his heroic battle with this dreaded disease. Rest in sweet east peace . Yoh have left a footprint of live amongst every person gifted with knowing you.
