This is heavy and hard to even put words to. Uncle Les welcomed anyone he met with welcoming arms and always a smile. You could never have a bad day when you were in his presence. You both welcomed my little family unconditionally right from the start. I will miss the sports chats and probing for hockey pools and who is getting traded in baseball. I will miss him dearly as would anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Wishing we could be there to celebrate his life and just give you the biggest hug from all of us in Labrador. Mike and Nicole and family

Debby, I was shocked to read about Les' passing in the paper and wanted to express my sincere condolences. I have known you both for many, many years. I know when Rose worked at Bird Stairs he was always teasing her in a good-natured way. I am sorry that I was unable to attend the service on Friday due to a doctor's appointment. I hope to be able to see you sometime soon. Thoughts and prayers to you.
